2014 BLOGGER CHALLENGE- FRUITS FOR SKIN

Welcome to the second installment of the 2014 Blogger Challenge. This weeks topic is skincare, anything about skincare! For my skincare video I decided to share with you some fruits for the skin. I am going to cover all skin issues like dry, oily, sensitive, combo, acne, scarring and hyper pigmentation. Natures candy is the key to beautiful skin.

Tip: Don't only use the fruit on your skin but eat it too. Eating it has a ton of skin benefits as well.

Dry Skin
Bananas- are a super fruit with its moisture properties. It helps soothe and nourish dry skin while tightening.
Avocados- its high in Vit. A, E and D which helps nourish dry skin. Its mostly an amazing moisturizer!
Papayas- are highly moisturizing fruits. Mix with some face cream and it will almost instantly soothe dry skin.

Oily Skin
Apples- mixed with honey they are a great light moisturizer.
Strawberries- are full of antioxidants which help detoxify the skin. Use as scrub on skin and will help improve                      skin

Sensitive Skin
Apples- is a gentle astringent and has softening properties. It keeps your skin supple and hydrated.
All Fruits- since fruits are all natural and chemical-free, they should all be safe. Some may be harsher than                     others

Acne
Papayas- helps cure blemishes on skin and even soothe stomach problems. Mash 4-5 cubes of it and rub on                 your skin daily and see your blemishes slowly clear.
Tomatoes- are full of vitamin A and C which help brighten skin and exfoliate. Tomatoes will reduce the size                    of breakouts

Scarring
Avocados- not only is it good for dry skins but the vitamin A and E are found to fade acne scars overtime. If                   you look vitamin A is found in most acne creams(named Retinol)

Dead Skin
Oranges- are amazing skin softeners. The vitamin C is used to brighten and exfoliate the skin. Grind dried                    peels and mix with milk and honey for a orange scrub
Pomegranates- are a winter fruit and are an amazing exfoliator. The juice helps keep skin soft and supple.

Those are all the fruits great for the skin! Incorporate these into any mask and see your skin shine! Until next time loves!
